We're Going on a Ghost Hunt Halloween trail at Petworth

Petworth's take on the We're Going on a Ghost Hunt books sends young children after the Bunnies of Hoppity Hill to find hidden ghosts. Along the way there is Halloween hoopla, broomstick racing and stepping stones, with a party and sticker at the finish. The route is buggy friendly.

Free event, but normal admission applies (National Trust members free).Directions

Bignor Roman Villa

Bignor Roman Villa preserves the remains of a Roman home with world-class mosaic floors, deep in the South Downs National Park. The mosaics, including a striking head of Medusa, are protected under historic cover buildings, and finds include the Bignor gold ring. A tearoom makes it an easy stop on a Downs day out.
