Lintot Square in Southwater becomes a winter wonderland on Saturday 28 November 2026 from 12pm. The festival features Santa's Grotto, around 40 Christmas market stalls and live entertainment including a disco, brass band and choir. Some stalls are run by local charities, schools and community groups, so it suits families and anyone wanting a local Christmas day out.

A council-run country park on the edge of Southwater, south of Horsham. Families come for the lakeside paths, the Dinosaur Island play area and the cafe, and the lake is used for sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking.

A charity-run birds of prey centre behind Hilliers Garden Centre on the edge of Horsham, home to more than 80 birds including falcons, hawks, eagles and owls, plus a family of meerkats. Free flying displays run twice a day, with handler talks in between, all set in landscaped gardens.
